GFSN National League - The World's Only Gay-Friendly Football League

London Falcons GFC

Defending GFSN League champions London Falcons GFC, currently based in Richmond and sponsored by Fitlads.net, were formed in 2006 and have quickly become one of the most successful gay Football teams in the UK.

In the 2007/08 season, their first full competitive season, London Falcons FC won the GFSN National League and the London Unity League (LUL). They also finished third in the London IGLFA World Championships in 2008.

In early 2009, as part of a re-organisation of the club, Falcons' GFSN side changed their name to London Falcons GFC, introduced a constitution ratified by members and a fully elected committee was formed under Chairman Ian Kehoe. In the 2009/10 season they were once again crowned GFSN League Champions with an unbeaten record in the league, and at the time of writing are also hoping to win the delayed 2010 LUL Cup final.

Their first team, managed by Kevin Latham, competes in the GFSN League and the LUL and their second team, managed by Luke Tuffs, competes in the LUL. They also regularly compete in national and international tournaments and aim to provide people with the opportunity to play competitive football at different levels regardless of their sexuality, in addition to providing an enjoyable social scene for both playing and social members.

Kieran Evans also runs a very popular 5-a-side evening every Wednesday in Raynes Park.

Home games are currently played at Old Deer Park, Richmond, and social events are regularly organised at the Richmond Arms, the 2 Brewers (Clapham) and in central London.
